EB: And finally, just to finish, there are lots of young drivers out there who wish to follow in your footsteps. So what advice would you give to them?
SB: Just always keep trying and never give up. I’ve been through a stage when I was racing and then I wasn’t and it took me a while to get to grips with not being out there and I got down about it. The moment I realised that I shouldn’t be down about it, I went ‘Right, I’m just going to work as hard as I can to get back in a race car’ and that was the moment when everything changed. So, it’s all about never giving up and if you have a dream, you have to go for it because when you’re a bit older and you’ve been doing something that you don’t really want to do, try not to have any regrets. At the moment, I don’t have a regret about my racing and everything I’ve done. You have a few things but I’ve never felt ‘Oh I should have done this or I should have done that’, because everything is a learning experience and you’ve got to take everything away from it and then you’ll be set.
EB: Brilliant! Thank you so much and have a great rest of your day.
