E: Obviously with f1forkidz, we do have a lot of young drivers who want to be in Formula One. If you could work with any F1 driver past or present, who would it be and why?

L: I know mine.

J: Yeah, I think mine’s the same.

L: Mark Webber for us. The reason being is, obviously he’s still involved in racing but he’s very much a fitness and outdoors person and he sees the importance of that and he’s always current and throughout his career in F1. He was always doing cycling and is still very involved in that. So I think because he is so involved with that, he’d be a good person to work with because he would get and understand everything we do.

J: And a good part of that was that all F1 drivers take their fitness seriously but I think he was very forthcoming in getting that message out that fitness is important for motorsport. It doesn’t matter where you are. You don’t have to get to F1 to do that. To take your fitness seriously is just a good lifestyle in general.

E: I think that’s a really interesting answer and like you say, people can relate to (Mark) Webber and lots of these drivers that are going out cycling and as we discussed earlier, they’ve really got a handle on the social side of it.

L: Yeah, he’s happy to share with people that he is doing that side of fitness and going ideas whereas you’ve got people like Rosberg (Nico Rosberg, 2016 F1 World Champion), who we know is training all the time and is on it but he perhaps doesn’t share that with everyone on a social level all the time. Webber is very much, hiking is good, cycling is also. He’s very out there with it.
